Built so neither side has to trust us, either.
PRO’s job is to remove leaps of faith — including any leap of faith in PRO. Money sits with regulated institutions, the record is tamper-evident by construction, and your history is made of verifiable facts.
The money
We never touch your funds.
When a client funds a milestone, the money is held by a licensed, regulated payment partner — named on the engagement, authorized for the corridor it serves. PRO is software around that custody, never the custodian. Funds move only under the release rules both parties accepted when the engagement was formed.
Regulated custody
Milestone funds are held by licensed payment institutions under their own regulatory obligations. PRO is not a bank, money transmitter, or escrow agent — and doesn’t want to be.
Pre-agreed release rules
Release on acceptance, refund on the terms in your agreement, resolution rules for the space in between — all fixed before any money moves, and never changeable by one side alone.
Verified identity
Before money moves, both parties clear identity verification run by regulated partners. PRO receives the outcome of those checks — wherever possible, not your underlying documents.
The record
Tamper-evident by construction.
Every legally meaningful action — terms accepted, milestone funded, deliverable submitted, amendment approved — is appended to the engagement’s event log with a cryptographic hash chaining it to everything before it. Change one entry and the chain breaks visibly. Nobody, including PRO, can quietly rewrite history.
When you need it outside PRO, the record exports as a certified bundle — with the certificates courts expect for electronic records in the United States and India — for your lawyer, your accountant, or your own archive. Always free.
The platform
Security floor, not ceiling.
Encryption everywhere
Data encrypted in transit and at rest. Card and bank details are captured in the payment partner’s own hosted fields — they never pass through PRO’s servers.
Strong access control
Two-factor authentication and passkeys, role-based permissions for teams, and audited administrative access on our side.
Facts, never scores
We don’t sell personal data and we don’t publish reputation scores. Profile statistics are verified first-party facts, with a correction path if anything is wrong.

Questions, answered
The things everyone asks.
Does PRO hold my money?
No. PRO never holds customer funds. Milestone payments are held and moved by licensed, regulated payment partners, named on each engagement. PRO is not a bank, money transmitter, or escrow agent.
Is PRO a marketplace?
No. There’s no directory, bidding, or matching. You bring your own relationship — someone you already want to work with — and PRO handles everything after the handshake: the agreement, funded milestones, and the record.
Is the agreement legally binding?
The services agreement formed on PRO is a contract between you and your counterparty, assembled from professionally reviewed terms and accepted by explicit click-acceptance, with every version retained in the record.
PRO is not a party to your agreement and doesn’t provide legal advice — for unusual situations, talk to a lawyer.
What happens if there’s a dispute?
The important part happens before the dispute: the milestone is already funded, and neither side can move the money unilaterally. Structured, symmetric resolution runs in-product over the held funds, using the engagement’s own record as evidence. For unusually large engagements, formal arbitration remains available under the terms both parties accepted.
Which countries does PRO support?
The private beta starts with the United States and India — including the US–India corridor, with its export invoicing, GST/LUT paperwork, and e-FIRA handled — with the UK, Canada, EU and more to follow.
What does PRO cost?
Agreeing is free. When a funded milestone releases, PRO charges 2.5% of the milestone, capped at $290 per engagement. Exporting your engagement record is always free. Full details on the pricing page.
Does PRO publish ratings or scores about me?
No. Profiles show verified first-party facts only — engagements completed, verified volume, on-time releases, repeat counterparties. No scores, no rankings, no algorithmic judgment. You can request corrections at [email protected].
Who owns the engagement record?
Both parties. Either side can export the full record at any time, free of charge. Because the record exists to protect both of you, it can’t be unilaterally rewritten or erased while the other party still has a legitimate need for it.
